William Teder About My Projects Activities Hey, I'm William. I'm a student developer who loves working on web apps. I'm most known for my work on the Lifeboat Network for Minecraft PE, co-founding it and bringing it to over ten million registered players. Lifeboat MCPE Server Network Ice Wars Multiplayer Card Game Robotics Team Programming Totem Music Community Harmony Alexa Dashboard IoWA League Profile Explorer labyrinth14 Two-Player Maze Game Pew AR Phone Game Animatch Music Video Generator üBear Self-Driving NXT Car Flex Scheduler Student Organization Tool SlideAlive Presentation Generator Math Drill Practice Arithmetic Work History Mixer Learned to collaborate on a large team following a formal engineering process. Containerized service stack, created a new backend API, and wrote fixes for site frontend. Demoed containerization setup, functionality and advantages to the team through a demo and presentation. Hydreon Corporation Co-founded the first competitive Minecraft PE game server network. Spanned 300 physical machines in two datacenters, serving a player base of twenty million. Maintained the game server software, custom plugins, APIs, and custom loadbalancer. PHP and MySQL, Docker, Ansible and AWS services were key tools in creating the infrastructure. Bloomington Public Schools Created a new mobile app designed for students and parents, providing useful information like lunch menus, upcoming events, and a staff directory. Developed a scheduling application for students to manage a flexible period, with a teacher approval system and data exporting. StudentRND Student volunteer, helping to organize and improve CodeDay , a national event to get middle school through college aged students interested in coding. Activities FTC Robotics Lead programmer for Team #6369 Designosaurs for six years. Wrote advanced computer vision algorithms to solve game challenges, and integrated sensor fusion systems for our autonomous period. During the 2016 season, I helped organize the team, managing expenses, organizing food for sessions when we went over dinner, and maintaining the space. CodeDay Attended twelve events, organized two.
